CANNON FALLS — One of three female sheriffs in Minnesota will talk about her job starting at 10 a.m. Oct. 8 at the Shepherd's Center, 120 State St. West, Cannon Falls.
Carlton County Sheriff Kelly Lake will speak at the meeting of TRIAD - Cannon Falls Area Citizens and Law Enforcement Partnership. TRIAD tries to bring law enforcement and citizens together.
Besides being a sheriff, Lake is also a cattle rancher.
