Craig Richie, 22, a 2008 graduate of Century High School, graduated from Marine Corps boot camp May 4 in San Diego.
Pvt. Richie, the son of Kathy and Timothy Richie, of Rochester, completed 13 weeks of training, including physical fitness, marksmanship, first aid, martial arts and leadership.
Following 10 days of leave, Pvt. Richie will begin school to learn his occupational specialty and then will report to his first duty station.
