I would like to thank Sandy Forstner and his Chamber of Commerce staff, Jeff Baldus and Val Schewe, for once again putting on a fabulous celebration for the 4th of July.
Our whole community owes the Chamber a thank you for putting on this great celebration. Although the heat did keep numbers down a little at the Bandshell, the parade and fireworks were once again very well attended. Freedom Fest seems to be the No. 1 celebration we have in town at which the whole community can enjoy together.
