The League of Women Voters will have a forum Sept. 9 for the two candidates vying for the Ward 5 seat on the Rochester City Council.
Mark Hickey and Shaun Palmer, who captured the most votes out of the seven candidates in the July 30 primary, will square off at 7 p.m. in the Rochester Public Library's auditorium.
The general election is Sept. 17. Ward 5 encompasses northeast and a small portion of northwest Rochester.
In addition to the League of Women Voters, the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce and the Post-Bulletin are sponsoring the candidates forum.
