Click-It or Ticket kick-off is Monday

Southeastern Minnesota law enforcement officers and members of the region's Toward Zero Deaths Safe Roads Coalitions will kick off the Click-It or Ticket effort Monday to enhance the enforcement of seat belt use.

The event will be at 11 a.m. at Kasson-Mantorville High School's Telcom Stadium, located at 101 16th St., N.E. in Kasson. The field is east of the high school.

More than 30 law enforcement agencies are expected to be represented at the event to encourage more seat belt use among motorists.

Speakers will be: Lt. Christina Krueger of the Minnesota State Patrol; Dodge County Sheriff Jim Jensen; Kasson-Mantorville Schools Superintendent Mark Matuska; and Adam Fredericksen, who was hit by a drunk driver and saved by his seat belt.
