The Olmsted Medical Group will open a satellite facility in St. Charles. Two family practitioners, Dr. Dale Hawk and Dr. John Balkins, will staff the facility.

IBM Corp. of Rochester has announced the establishment of a computer Explorer post for Olmsted County boys from 14 to 18 years old. The Explorer program is part of the Boy Scouts organization.
About 2,840 students are beginning classes in Rochester’s four Catholic schools. The enrollment is a record.
