A local road will soon be closed as construction continues at the Elk Run Interchange south of Pine Island.
Olmsted County Road 18, located north of Oronoco, will be closed beginning July 15 between Olmsted County Road 12 and 130th Street, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The closure will last about three weeks, depending on the weather.
Local access will be maintained during the construction, but motorists will also be detoured to Olmsted County Road 12, Power Dam Road and 130th Street.
