ALMA, Wis. — A demonstration of how a tree would be turned into furniture during Medieval times will begin at 2 p.m. Sept. 28 at Castlerock Museum in Alma, Wis.
Thomas Latane, Derek Olson and Paul Nyborg will demonstrate the process of taking a tree, riving and hewing it down to stock, smoothing and joining that into furniture and then carving and finishing a piece.
Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students; children 4 and younger are free. The museum, located at 402 S. Second St., opens at 1 p.m.
