After 29 years working for the City of Rochester, Development Administration Director Doug Knott is retiring.
In a letter to City Administrator Steve Kvenvold dated May 20, Knott said his retirement will be effective Aug. 31.
"With work underway on the Destination Medical Center plan and a new comprehensive plan for the city, this seems to be a logical time to transition into the next phase of my life," Knott wrote. "I count myself very lucky to have spent a career in a job that has been interesting and rewarding."
