A forecast for heavy snow early this week will limit downtown, overnight parking in Rochester. City staff have begun posting notices warning of "no parking" and "snow plowing" on downtown streets.
There will be no parking allowed on downtown area business district streets from 12 a.m. to 8 a.m. Monday night, and again during the same hours from Tuesday night to Wednesday morning, according to a public safety announcement issued by the city.
All vehicles in violation of the parking order will be ticketed and towed. Any owner of a missing vehicle should notify the city Law Enforcement Center at 328-6810.
The following streets are included in the no parking order:
3rd Ave. West from 1st St. NW to 6th St. SW (one-way northbound)

4th St. South from 2nd Ave. SW to 2nd Ave. SE
1st Ave. West from 5th St. NW south to End of Street by "YMCA"
2nd Ave. West from 2nd St. SW to 6th St. SW
5th St. SW from 1st Ave. SW to 2nd Ave. SW
6th St. SW from 1st Ave. SW to 2nd Ave. SW
Broadway from 2nd St. South to 6th St. South
Center St. from 6th Ave. West to East to end of Bridge over Zumbro River
