Electronics stolen during burglary

A pair of roommates who said the lock to their southwest Rochester house didn't work lost four large televisions and other electronics when their house was robbed Sunday night, according to the police department.

The robbery happened between 4 p.m. Sunday, when the men went to a social gathering, and 11 a.m. Monday, when they returned after spending the night in a hotel, according to Capt. Brian Winters.

Taken were four flat-screen TVs, two video game systems, many movies and electronic components, Winters said. Police did not have an estimate on the loss. The victims, in their 20s, said their door couldn't be locked, Winters said.
