Elizabeth J. Hansen, 80, of Faribault, died Monday, Nov. 30, 2015, at Golden Living Center in Rochester.
Elizabeth Jean Hansen, the daughter of Peter and Susan (Schweisthal) Hein, was born Sept. 5, 1935, in Faribault. She was formerly employed by N.S.P. of Faribault from 1953 to 1964, then by St. Luke's Church, Faribault as a secretary from 1966 to 1977 and later by Wescott Orchard & Agri Products of Elgin.
She is survived by four children, Vonda (and David) Morrison of Eyota, Dean Hansen of Plainview, Chad Hansen of Plainview and Vinetta Hansen of Kasson; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Katy and Reid Morrison, Devin Hansen and Casey Wood; two brothers, Peter (and Jeanne) Hein and James (Becky) Hein, all of Faribault; two sisters, Arlene Hein of Faribault and Carol (and Mark) Fannin of Milwaukee, Wisc.; her former husband, Harlyn Hansen of Walker; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Valerie Hansen; and one granddaughter, Hope Morrison in 1995.
