The Mayo Clinic Children’s Center will offer a free garden celebration to promote health and wellness through nature and the arts on Friday in the Mathews Grand Lobby of the Mayo Building and in Annenberg Plaza, 200 First St. S.W.
Displays will include the Zumbro Valley Audubon Society, Oxbow Park, Zumbro Fiber Arts Guild, bicycle safety, Rochester trails and area trout fishing.

The schedule includes:
• 11 a.m.: Welcome by Dr. Ann Reed, chairwoman of the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine; singing and garden planting; kids' art exhibit.
• 11:30 a.m.: Bicycle helmet safety.

• Noon: Welcome by Dr. Chris Moir, chairman of Mayo Clinic Children's Center. Harp music, children’s dance.
• 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Dance performances.
• 1:30 p.m.: Rochester Montessori School Band.
