Eyota 'Spook Walk' reopens tonight

For those who still want a good scare, the Saturday Night Spook Walk in Eyota has decided to open back up on tonight.

The Halloween event started seven years ago at the home of Larry and Marlys Fieseler for their friends and family members. Now, it's open to the public. Last week, the Fieseler family said more than 300 people stopped by, and many requested the Spook Walk reopen. The event runs again from 7 to 9 p.m. today and takes place at 95405 90th Ave. S.E., Eyota.

The family spent more than 600 hours setting up the Saturday Night Spook Walk. Organizers have "spooked out" a two-story barn as well as a nearby trailer house and woods. Back this year are the crazy clowns, the butcher scene and the alien room, and new this year is "The Hospital."

Free-will donations are accepted. Proceeds will support the American Cancer Society and the Olmsted County Relay for Life team, "Team Smudge Club." Marlys Fieseler and three of her sisters are breast cancer survivors.
