Questions regarding a planned roundabout at Highway 42 and Olmsted County Road 9 north of Eyota will be answered Wednesday during an open house planned by the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Members of the MnDOT team will answer questions from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Eyota Volunteer Ambulance Station, 753 Robert Ave. SW in Eyota. No formal presentation is planned, so people may drop by at any time during the session to learn about the project and ask questions.
The planned roundabout is part of a joint project with the state and Olmsted County.
Chippewa Concrete Services Inc. of Chippewa Falls, Wis., will start constructing the roundabout on May 7, which will require a detour for traffic at Highway 42 and County 9. The project is scheduled to be completed in early July, according to MnDOT.
