A flash flood warning has been issued a flash flood watch for the entire region, as well as much of Iowa and a few counties into Wisconsin, from 1 p.m. today until 1 a.m. Wednesday.
The service says a band of strong thunderstorms is headed this way and, with ground saturated in so many places, much of the rain could run off.
Most areas will get 1 to 2 inches of rain, but there is a chance for up to 5 inches in some areas.
