The community is invited to "take it to the hoop for the Salvation Army food drive" during tonight's Austin High School girls basketball game.
Bring two non-perishable items to the girls game at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 16 in Austin High School's Ove Berven Gym against Rochester Mayo High School and get into the game free of charge or get a free three-point shot ticket to win cool prizes.
A couple of items the Salvation Army is having a hard time keeping on the shelf are peanut butter, dry/powdered milk and boxed crackers of any kind.
