Patricia Carlson, former human services director for Olmsted County and executive director of Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center in Rochester began as interim chief executive officer of State Operated Services on Nov. 7.
It is a division of the Minnesota Department of Human Services. She is expected to serve as CEO for a year to 18 months until the position is filled permanently.
Services provides direct care and treatment to people with mental illness, developmental disabilities, chemical dependency, traumatic brain injury and those with disabilities who pose a risk to society.
