The Rochester Gamers' Community will host a miniatures game day Saturday at Godfather's Pizza in Rochester.
The event will be from noon to 9 p.m. and will feature miniature games, such as Warhammer, Malifaux, Dungeon Run, Battle Tech, Naval Thunder and D&D 4th Lair Assault.
The event is open to the public, and tables will be reserved for open gaming so people can share their favorite games as well as the ones featured by RGC. The group encourages beginners to attend.
The miniatures game day will include a Rolls for Re-Rolls contest. People who bring a roll of paper towels will be given a token to re-roll a die. Paper towels will be donated to the Mower County Humane Society.
RGC is a volunteer-based organization that encourages community through gaming. The group has raised money for charities, such as Channel One Food Bank, the Ronald McDonald House, Toys for Tots and the Boys & Girls Club of Rochester.
