GRAND MEADOW — The Rail Runners Model Railroad Club will host an open house with their train layout in the Grand Meadow Business Center on three successive weekends beginning Saturday.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 2, 9 and 16, and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 3 and 10. There is no admission fee.
The layout, which fills one of the former classrooms in the center, is an HO gauge layout consisting of two main lines of 210 feet that take trains more than five minutes to cover.
For those who want to help or join, the club meets from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. each Wednesday for train operating sessions and to work on the layout
