DULUTH — Runners who still want to participate in Grandma's Marathon in Duluth have just over a week to get registered.
Registration for the June 19 event remains open through next Tuesday, June 1.
As of Friday, more than 7,100 runners were already signed up for the 26.2-mile race. The marathon is limited to 9,500 runners.
The entry fee for this year is $85.
Event organizers say last year's champions, Chris Raabe and Mary Akor, are both expected to return to defend their titles.

Officials also need more than 500 volunteers for the marathon weekend.
