A safe containing a handgun was stolen from a home in Rochester earlier this week.
The Rochester Police Department took a report that a home in the 500 block of Circle Court Southwest was broken into sometime between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 10 p.m. Wednesday, according to Rochester Police Capt. John Sherwin.
The resident told police that a safe containing a handgun was taken, as well as a laptop. Police said the suspect broke in through a window.
