Police responded to reports of a fight and a gun being fired in a southeast Rochester neighborhood early Saturday morning, the second day in a row such an incident was reported in the area.
A .40-caliber bullet casing was found in the 1300 block of Sixth Avenue Southeast on Saturday after reports of people yelling and screaming outside, then up to three shots being fired, said Sgt. Scott McCarron.
Witnesses said around five people were involved in the altercation at around 3 a.m. The people involved in the argument scattered after the gun was fired, McCarron said.
There was no report of injuries in the Saturday morning incident.
A similar altercation involving gunfire was reported in the same area late Thursday night/early Friday morning, McCarron said.

Police are reviewing surveillance video of the area as the investigation continues, he said.
