BYRON — Six long guns, a buck knife and 150 feet of scrap wiring were taken in a burglary last week, according to the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office.
An unlocked cabin was broken into in the 7200 block of 10th Street Southwest between 6 p.m. on Friday and 3 p.m. on Saturday, according to detective Lee Rossman. There was another attempted break-in at another building on the property, but no entry was gained, Rossman said.
The guns were valued at $300 apiece, Rossman said.
