Habitat loses warehouse in Winona

WINONA — The Winona County Habitat for Humanity ReStore has lost the warehouse it used for storage and is looking for volunteers to move items and people to buy them.

The warehouse was demolished Monday, and items were moved to the retail store at 77 Laird St. in downtown Winona.

Volunteers may call (507) 474-6075. The retail store is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays and until 7 p.m. on Thursdays.

The store raises money for Habitat for Humanity and keeps about 250 tons of materials out of landfills annually.
