SPRING GROVE — Reconstructed Minnesota Highway 44 through downtown Spring Grove will officially reopen Friday evening.
The highway has been closed since June so the city and the Minnesota Department of Transportation could reconstruct the road and replace infrastructure.
The city has scheduled a ribbon-cutting at 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Community members are asked to meet outside Ivy Grove at 101 West Main St. and walk down the new street to the First Avenue Northwest Intersection for the ceremony.
