A homeless woman was allegedly robbed of $42 early Wednesday … by another homeless person, police said.
The robbery was reported about 1:45 a.m., when the woman told officers she'd gone to visit friends in the 500 block of First Avenue Northwest. There, she said, she was punched in the face several times and pushed against a wall by a 33-year-old Rochester man, who took the money from her pocket, the report says.
She was able to leave the home and call police, who spoke with the suspect, said Lt. Mike Sadauskis. No charges have been filed, and the investigation is ongoing, he said.
