A panel discussion on the "Plight of Pollinators in Minnesota" will be from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 6 at Cascade Meadow Environmental Wetlands and Science Center, 2900 19th Street NW, Rochester.
Rep. Tina Liebling, D-Rochester will moderate the panel that will consist of a legislator, biology professor and Audubon expert.
The problem is that the number of honey bees, monarch butterflies, and native pollinators is dropping because of loss of habitat and new insecticides.
The panel will give people ideas about how to help pollinators through better gardens, smart shopping smart and making communities and the state are more pollinator friendly.
