Hubcaps stolen from Rochester vehicles

Hubcap thieves were at work in Rochester over the weekend, taking the hubcaps from seven different vehicles parked throughout the city.

Police Capt. Brian Winters said the loss exceeds $4,000. He said  the thieves took the hubcaps from four Cadillac Escalades, two Oldsmobile Auroras, a GMC Yukon and a Chevy Impala.

Two of the vehicles were parked in the lot of a southeast Rochester motel; one in the driveway of a northwest Rochester residence; and four in separate motel parking lots on South Broadway. All of the incidents were reported Saturday.
