STEWARTVILLE — A 30-year-old hunter was injured Tuesday evening when he fell about 20 feet from a tree stand.
Officials were called about 5:50 p.m. to the 2800 block of 105th Street Southeast after the man called the property owner to let him know he'd been hurt.
The owner called 911 and was able to get rescuers back to the site, said Larry Mueller, of the Stewartville Fire Department.
The hunter reportedly sustained hip and rib injuries.
