AUSTIN — Motorists can expect lane closures on Interstate 90 between Minnesota Highway 16 and Mower County Road 1 beginning Thursday, when crews start concrete repair work.
The project includes concrete pavement repairs on the eastbound lanes and shoulder resurfacing.
When the project is complete, motorists will experience a smoother ride surface and a safer highway.
Diamond Surface is the prime contractor for the $1.4 million project, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
