About $7,100 in jewelry and $100 in cash were reported stolen from a southwest Rochester home Wednesday.
Rochester police said a resident of the house in the 10 block of 22nd Street Southwest, reported leaving the house to do errands about 11 a.m. and returning about 1 p.m. Upon returning, the resident noticed someone had entered the unlocked garage and kicked in the door to the house.
The resident then noticed the jewelry and cash missing.
