Dear Answer Man, what is "joggling?" There's an event coming up in Rochester this summer and I've never heard of it. Will it be part of Rochesterfest? — Jim
Joggling is a rather mind-boggling combination of track and field events with juggling. Have to admit, I've never heard of it before, but I now have a news release on my desk from the International Jugglers Association , based in Kenmore, N.Y., and they're planning the World Joggling Championships for Rochester on July 20. Jugglers will be in town from July 18 to July 24 .
The website declares that Mayo Civic Center has "immense, spotless, state-of-the-art juggling space," which I'm sure is true, and the group has a full week of events planned.
As long as there are no mimes, it ought to be an amazing week. Mark your calendars now.
Rochestefest is June 17-26 this year, by the way, so no overlap with the jugglers.
