Laptop, BMX bike taken in burglary

A burglary Thursday in northwest Austin remains under investigation, according to Austin Police Chief Brian Krueger.

A homeowner in the 600 block of 10th Avenue Northwest reported at about 4:30 p.m. that his house and garage had been robbed.

Taken were a laptop computer, a BMX bike and a Nintendo game system. Total value of the items stolen was more than $2,400.

There was no sign of forced entry, the report says. No suspects were named.
