Authorities are asking for the public's help in locating a Byron youth who ran away from home Jan. 24.

Noah Samuel Graddy, 15, left his home voluntarily, said Sgt. Tom Claymon, so officials don't believe he's in danger.

"We're trying to get his name and face out to the public," Claymon said. "He's a signed runaway, so that means to harbor him is a crime."

Typically, reported runaways are followed up with patrol units looking for the missing person, he said, but the cases are sent to investigations if the runaway isn't located.

"There's nothing suspicious about his case," Claymon said, "but we've exhausted all other avenues."
