Red Owl Corp. was a grocery chain headquartered in Hopkins, Minn. It opened its first Rochester store on south Broadway in May 1922. Rochester’s Red Owl moved to Fourth Street Southeast, then to Miracle Mile Shopping Center in 1952. John’s Tailor Shop, Miracle Nails, Corner Medical, Sky Dragon Buffet, All in Vogue, and S.J. Jewelers now occupy this space.
