MABEL — Voters in the Mabel-Canton school district on Tuesday night overwhelming approved a $1,207.96-per-pupil levy renewal that raises $375,000 a year.
Voters passed the measure with 343 (88 percent) in favor, and 45 (12 percent) opposed.
"We're very pleased," said Superintendent Michael Moriarty. "We got the information out, and apparently the community was pleased with the way things are, and they want to keep things going."
