Three sheriff's deputies were assaulted Tuesday at Saint Marys Hospital after a 31-year-old man was arrested, according to the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office.
The man, whose address was unknown, was arrested on an Olmsted County felony warrant around 5:45 p.m. at the Neptune Bar in Zumbro Falls, according to sheriff's detective Brad Nelson.
The man said he needed treatment for a previous injury so he was taken to Saint Marys by ambulance. He assaulted three deputies there and also damaged a squad car while being taken from the hospital to the county jail, Nelson said.
The man is expected to appear in Olmsted County District Court on Thursday.
