A 20-year-old Rochester man was arrested Thursday after threatening a group of teenagers with a samurai sword, according to police.
The suspect said he was threatening the kids because he heard from his mother that the kids were trying to break into his car, but police found no evidence of an attempted break-in, according to Lt. Casey Moilanen.
The victims were a 15-year-old and two 16-year-olds, Moilanen said.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
The Post-Bulletin generally does not name suspects until they have been charged.
