A Minnesota state trooper and members of law enforcement in general were threatened in an e-mail, leading to the arrest of a Rochester man, according to police.
The threatening e-mail was sent by the 20-year-old suspect after the man came into contact with the trooper as part of an enforcement action, according to Capt. Brian Winters.
Winters said it wasn't clear if the man sent the e-mail directly to the state patrol or elsewhere in the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
The Post-Bulletin generally does not name suspects until they have been charged.
