Man could be deported after sentencing for criminal sexual conduct

AUSTIN — An Arcadia, Wis., man could be deported after being sentenced Nov. 4 in Mower County District Court following his guilty plea to second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a girl younger than 13 years old.

Ismael Sanchez-Rosas, 20, formerly of Austin, was sentenced to 36 months in prison (stayed for 30 years), given credit for 338 days already served in jail and put on probation for 30 years. His case also was turned over to the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency for possible deportation.

He was charged March 1 for allegedly forcing the victim to perform sex acts numerous times between 2007 and 2009, and threatened her if she told anyone.
