APPLE VALLEY, Minn. — Police in a Twin Cities suburb shot a man after responding to a domestic dispute call.

Apple Valley police say injuries to the 48-year-old man are life-threatening, but provided no further details about his wounds.

Police Chief Jon Rechtzigel says the man pulled a gun on officers as they were questioning him at a home Sunday evening. The chief would not say how many officers were involved or how many shots were fired.
