A Rochester man may face drunken driving charges after deputies clocked him traveling 96 miles per hour early Monday.
Tyler Sobeck, 30, was pulled over for speeding in the 45 mph zone at 2:27 a.m., said Olmsted County Sheriff’s Capt. Scott Behrns.
The deputy suspected Sobeck was under the influence, so he conducted a field sobriety test. Sobeck was later arrested and transported to jail, where his blood-alcohol level was determined to be 0.22, Behrns said.
Sobeck may face two third-degree DWI charges, both gross misdemeanors, as well as a charge for excess speed, Behrns said.
