A man was stabbed early Sunday after an altercation at a Rochester bar.
Rochester Police Lt. Gretchen O'Neil said police became aware of the stabbing after an officer traveling northbound on Broadway saw a group of men walking along the east side of the street who appeared to be fighting. They were heading towards the parking lot of Whiskey Bones Roadhouse at 3820 U.S. 63.
"They were pushing and shoving each other, and they ran up to Whiskey Bones' parking lot. One had a large blood stain on the back of his shirt," she said.
The officer checked the individual with the blood stain and found he had been stabbed. O'Neill said officers determined an altercation appeared to have happened at the bar earlier and the men were headed back. The victim was transported to the hospital, and O'Neill said she was told it was a non-life threatening injury.
No other details, such as the victim's age, were available Sunday morning because the officers who responded had not yet filed the full report. No arrests were made.

O'Neil said it appears this was a targeted attack among people who knew each other.
