The 48th annual Marigold Days festival takes place this weekend in Mantorville.
Events starts on Saturday, when the day's schedule includes a firemen's pancake breakfast, kids fishing contest from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., antique and flea market, quilt and flower shows, antique appraisals from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., music stage, bingo from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., senior citizen's pie social, truck parade at 3:30 p.m., melodrama performance at 7:30 p.m., and fireworks and Fire and Rescue Department dance at night.
On Sunday, the schedule includes the VFW Auxiliary breakfast, antique and flea market, car show from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., quilt and flower shows, pie social, bingo from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., grand parade at 1:30 p.m., music stage, and firefighters water fight.
