Rochester Public Schools has received a $32,500 grant from the Community Contributions Committee at Mayo Clinic.
The grant will support district programs: SAFE and We Want You Back.
The SAFE program, which aids in college readiness for students in need of additional support, will receive $30,000, and the We Want You Back program, designed to re-enroll students who have dropped out, will receive $2,500.
The SAFE program has served 169 students over the past two years. The We Want You Back program is two years old, and has resulted in 19 students re-enrolling.
