Why are you running for Mower County recorder? What do you consider your strengths, including experience?
I am running for Mower County Recorder because it is the type of work that I like to do and am experienced in. I have been in the office for over 11 years as chief deputy and feel this is the next step for me. I enjoy working with bankers, lawyers, research people and the general public when they come into the office to record papers and research. I worked at Enger Abstract for nine years under Charles (Chuck) Enger before becoming the chief deputy recorder with Susan Davis.

I want to be county recorder because I am the candidate that would best serve the community. As recorder, I would return $10,000 of my salary annually to the community to help with the current budget issues. I am a self-motivated, goal-oriented person who has successfully served in multiple leadership roles.
