WINONA — A planned reconstruction of part of Winona County Road 17 will be the subject of a public information meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The meeting will be at Signatures Restaurant, 22852 County Road 17.
The $3 million reconstruction project, covering a 1.1-mile segment of County Road 17, includes a proposed roundabout at county roads 17 and 15. The work would begin in the spring of 2012, and continue through Oct. 30, 2012.
The project area lies south of Winona, near the county road's intersection with Minnesota Highway 43.
The purpose of the open house is to present information on the project, hear concerns and answer questions.
