MINNEAPOLIS — A 10-year old Bloomington girl who disappeared in south Minneapolis has been found safe in a hospital emergency room.
Namo Abdinur Ahmed disappeared around 10 a.m. Sunday. Police say she got out of a car with her mother and siblings and was walking ahead of them to their religion classes, but she didn't make it to class.
Sgt. William Palmer says officers spent hours going door to door and spreading the word in the Somali community.
Palmer says police got a call just about 6 p.m. from Children's Hospital of Minneapolis after Namo walked into the emergency room there.
He said investigators will follow up to determine where she wasvduring the day.
