On Wednesday, representatives from MNsure will pay a visit to Farmfest, the annual trade show that draws 40,000 visitors to the Gilfillan Estate in rural Redwood County.
MNsure representatives will be there from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Farmers Union hoop barn (lot 509). MNsure brokers will be on hand to talk with families, individuals and business owners about the benefits of health insurance and how MNsure might be able to help them save money on their health insurance.
"Agriculture is a major industry in this state, and we know that a large number of farmers in Minnesota are purchasing individual coverage," interim MNsure CEO Allison O'Toole said in a prepared statement. "We want to make sure these folks know about the cost-saving benefits available only through MNsure so they can either shop on their own or work with a MNsure-certified broker to find a health insurance plan that meets their needs and budget."
